DEFINITELY NOT THE WORST THING IN THE WORLD

As we emerged from the longest year of our lives, a group of Jewish young people collaborated with a team of Jewish artists to turn the mishigas of 2020 into a moving immersive theatrical performance. Devised directly from these young people’s own ideas and imaginations, join us to experience an outdoor performance of movement, song and language that reflects our shared Yiddishkeit and all the Covid craziness of the past year… come rain or shine. Directed by Romi Kupfer, definitely not the worst thing in the world is bursting with the strength, grit and humour of these young people and the year they will never forget.

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land, the land I live, work and create upon, the Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. I am grateful for the connections I have had with country and its peoples. I feel fortunate to be able to create new work, collaborate and engage with others on this land. I acknowledge elders past and present and value the knowledge carried with them.
