The Endo Project (working title), is a new work currently being developed by Romi Kupfer. It will be a theatrical piece reflecting on what it is to live with chronic illness that relates to the female reproductive system.

I live with endometriosis and adenomyosis. I know there are a lot of women who live with these and other similar conditions that have enormous affects on our lives. Affects that most people don't see and don't understand.

I will be collating data from women who live with these conditions to be used in this work. The personal accounts taken will be used to create parts of the script. I believe in order to create an authentic work about these conditions, it is essential to reflect the diversity of women's experiences and have truthful representation of the different relationships we have to our bodies, health and illness.

Please note any data used will remain anonymous.

Thank you so much for your contribution.

Has/have your illness(es) been diagnosed?

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land, the land I live, work and create upon. I am grateful for the connections I have had with country and its peoples. I feel fortunate to be able to create new work, collaborate and engage with others on this land. I acknowledge elders past, present and emerging and value the knowledge carried with them.
