Romi facilitates workshops for people of all ages and specialises in workshops focusing on: making performance, script writing, character work , ensemble work, acting/performing and movement.
Romi is an inclusive practitioner and therefore facilitates supportive and open spaces that she is able to adapt to all participants. She has experience working with artists with diverse cultural backgrounds and artists with disabilities.
Her areas of expertise are facilitating both for younger participants (5 - 18yo) or older (18+).
Romi has experience running creative workshops for young people aged 5-18 and has worked with many artistic companies as a facilitator, such as: Polyglot Theatre Company, Arena Theatre Company, Back to Back Theatre, House of Muchness, Regional Arts Victoria and more. Through creative facilitation and performance making, Romi strives to empower young artists.
Romi highly values the artistic process and its contribution to good mental health practices and champions the ability to promote this through creative engagements. Romi has completed the Youth Mental Health First Aid training and the iHeart Principles training (an international mental health resilience program for young people).
